This is Fan Art for my friend and schoolmate Ryan. [link]
Watch out for this guy. He's new to dA, so everyone watching me, give him some love! (And some decent comments to boot.)
Rey and Julie are characters from his webcomic "Gift": [link]
I read through his webcomic and it was great. What impresses me most is the determination he's got for it. It's just unbelievable...literally hundreds of pages, and I can't even get mine up to a two-digit number.
Check out his other webcomic "Apocalypse" here: [link]
Making a webcomic is not an easy thing to do, it took me more then a year to get to a two digit number.
I love the pic BTW the lineart and colures make it look almost three dimensional, did you use cell shading?
-- [link] my comic, good action, good comedy low cliche level^^
Over a year? Yipes...then again, your style DOES look like it takes long. You actually add faded shading to everything...those must take hours!
Uhm, the heart thing was a 3-dimensional object using the 3D toolbar built in standard PowerPoint on the Heart autoshape. ...And, what do you mean by "use cell shading"?
-- It's got the POWER... ...you just need to POINT it in the right direction.
We want to know what love means to you!
Get your creative juices flowing and design a movie poster for "Paper Heart" that focuses on the theme "What Does Love Mean to Me?".
This is a collection of deviations showing real Pinups in the classic Retro poses from various Artists. For the 4rd time I present a variation of Vintage Pinup Queens as well as fresh modern Pinup art. If you love Polkadots, seamed Nylons, Plateau-Heels and and Miles-long-legs you should not miss this collection.
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example. From participating in devmeets, to providing positive encouragement to other artists, `Rushy can always be found demonstrating what it really takes to be a true deviant. It's without any hesitation that we are delighted to award the Deviousness Award for July 2009 to `RushyRead More

expecting life to treat you well because you are a good person is like expecting an angry bull not to charge because you are a vegetarian.
Uhm...I can't really compare. We have different styles and different tools.
